**ARTIST STATEMENT**

My work begins with the belief that places and materials remember. A public surface, a discarded object, a photograph, a landscape, or an ordinary encounter can carry histories that are easy to overlook.

I work across public art, painting, sculpture, photography, and interdisciplinary forms to transform those fragments into new experiences. I’m interested in what happens when something familiar is altered just enough that we see it again.

Across media, my work explores place, memory, material, connection, and transformation.
