**ARTIST STATEMENT**
My work begins with drawing as a way of observing, imagining, and connecting ideas.
I am interested in the expressive possibilities of line, colour, and shape, and in how simple visual elements can develop into characters, stories, and entire visual worlds.
Nature, everyday life, and the relationship between people and their surroundings are recurring sources of inspiration in my work.
I enjoy combining hand-drawn elements with graphic composition, creating images that feel spontaneous while maintaining a clear visual structure.
I am particularly drawn to illustration that can move beyond a single image: characters that can tell stories, patterns that can become part of an environment, and visual concepts that can be translated into books, products, textiles, or other creative applications.
